Gen. John D. Lamontagne has been nominated by President Donald Trump to become Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, a job that has been vacant since February. Brig. Gen. Christopher A. Eason, currently commander of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, has also been nominated to be Judge Advocate General of the Air Force and the Adjutant General of Texas Maj. Gen. Thomas M. Suelzer was selected as the new director of the Air National Guard.
