Military retirees and veterans on disability will receive the same 2.5% cost-of-living
adjustment in 2025 that federal officials announced last week for Social Security
recipients.
Last year, the increase was 3.2%. In 2022, the boost was 8.7%, which was the largest in
42 years. The trend reflects a cooling of inflation.
