The Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter fleet continues to age, with many units operating aircraft that are over 25 years old.
Recommendations
- Accelerate modernization and recapitalization of the National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk fleet and continue acquisition of UH-60M helicopters.
- Specifically dedicate additional UH-60M aircraft to the Army National Guard in Fiscal Year (FY) 2020.
