The week of April 22 was certainly a busy one for Lockheed Martin in South Carolina, beginning with the F-16 Production Line Ribbon Cutting event in Greenville on April 23.

The next day, members of our Government Affairs team visited Columbia to be presented resolutions by the S.C. House and Senate to mark this exciting milestone and importance of the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-35 Lightning II in South Carolina.

The week closed out at the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort Air Show as the F-35B made its first full demonstration debut, which showcased its revolutionary Short Takeoff and Vertical Landing (STOVL) capabilities.
